Beverly Carter

December 20, 1963 — September 30, 2014

Beverly Carter

Beverly Lownes Carter, 50 of Scott, Arkansas went to be with our Lord on September 30, 2014 in Cabot, Arkansas, leaving behind her husband; 2 children, 5 grandchildren and literally thousands of friends. So adored was she by everyone who knew her, she lived the loveliest of lives and leaves the brightest of legacies.
Beverly was born on December 20, 1963 on McClellan Air Force Base in Anniston, Alabama. As she grew into the inspiring woman she became, she learned how to truly love others and to put God first. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling to different places and sharing these experiences with the ones closest to her. Although she loved her life and lived it beautifully, we know the stars we see at night are actually openings in heaven. This is how she smiles down on us, letting us know how happy she is now.
She is survived by her family, children and grandchildren whose photos she would share daily. They now carry on her spirit: her loving husband of 35 years, Carl Carter of Scott; her two sons, Carl Carter, Jr. of NLR and Chad Carter of Conway; one daughter-in-law, Kim Carter of NLR; four grandchildren, Bailey Carter, Luke Carter, Chloe Carter and Collin Carter, all of NLR; and one grandchild that is expected to arrive in April 2015; her mother , Marlene Lownes of Pell City , Alabama; two sisters, Kathy Siegler of Alliance, Nebraska and Tobbie Lownes of Pell City, Alabama; and three Yorkshire Terriors, Dakota, Abby and Boomer.
She is now reunited with her son, Christopher Brian Carter and her Daddy, John B. Lownes.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Beverly Carter Fund for her grandchildren.
Please join the family as they celebrate her life. The visitation will be on Friday, October 3, 2014 from 5pm-7pm and the service will be on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10am, both at the First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
