Betty Woods

Betty "Memaw" Woods, 82, of East End passed away Thursday, July 16, 2015. She was born April 2, 1933 to the late Noah and Era Maynard Williford in Pulaski County, Arkansas. She was a member of Forest Tower Baptist Church and was a homemaker who loved her family and cared for the needs of others.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Hatley, Carol Woods and Nicki Woods; son, Michael Woods (Crystal); fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Wayne Woods; daughter, Shelia Woods and son, David Woods; siblings, Hazel Martin, Buddy Williford, and Jackie Leonard. The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregiver, Sudie; Dr. Howell and the staff of Arkansas Hospice, especially Laila, Cheryl and Deena.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at Forest Tower Baptist Church. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
