Betty Turner Hill

Betty Turner Hill, age 85, of Murfreesboro, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023. 

She was born in Kirby on May 27, 1938, the daughter of Preston Owen Turner and Minnie Leah Babbitt Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents; her two sisters, Wilma Dingler and Vernell Cox; and her brother, Doyce Turner.

Betty was very social, she always made everyone smile. She loved to sing and dance. She was very patriotic. . Betty will be remembered for the immense love she had for her sons and family.  

Betty is survived by her two sons, Kirk "Randy" Hill of Murfreesboro, formerly of Fort Smith and Russell "Rusty" Hill of Maumelle; her granddaughter, Holly Bailey of Paris, Texas; her two great-granddaughters, Londyn Bailey and Aspyn Bailey; her four sisters, Velma Cowart of Lodi, Peggy (Gerald) Liticker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Frances (Ed) Cowart of Lodi, and Dian (Bill) Henderson of Murfreesboro; her two brothers, Preston (Maricon) Turner of Conway and Dwight (Keitha) Turner of Hot Springs; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 28, 2023, in the Murfreesboro Cemetery with Bro. Kyle Cowart officiating.
