Betty Peters, 95, of Sherwood passed away Friday, November 6, 2015. She was born February 27, 1920 in Kingman County, Kansas to Roy and Carrie Coleman Baker.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Peters (Laura) and Lynn Peters (Peggy); sister, Donna Sue Baker Boucher; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Peters; son, Phillip L. Peters; nine brothers and sisters and her parents.
A graveside service will be held at the V.A. Cemetery Number One in Fort Scott, Kansas at a later date.
