Betty L. Patton was born September 28, 1937 in Waveland, Arkansas and passed away February 17, 2025 at Belvedere Nursing Home. Betty lived most of her early adult years in Springdale, Arkansas.
Betty moved from Springdale Arkansas to San Bernadino, California where she met Lester Patton. The two were married on April, 25 1956.
They returned to Midwest City, Oklahoma where she worked at Tinker Airforce base until her retirement in 1976.
They moved to Arkansas to be closer to family and lived in Story, Arkansas where she loved to garden, cook, sewing, and fishing. Her greatest love was her grandchildren. Betty was preceded by her parents, her husband Lester Patton, her sister Helen Watson, and grandchild Jennifer Ariel Patton.
Betty is survived by son Tom Patton and his spouse Denise Patton, grandchildren Kaitlin Patton, Kyle Patton and spouse Whitney Patton, step grandson Matthew Vesely and three great grandchildren Beckett Patton, Baker Patton and Everett Vesely, sister-in-law Joan Harman.
Betty loved the Lord and always said “Put your problems at the feet of the Lord”
The family would like to thank Elite Hospice Kelly, Belvedere Nursing and Rehab her nurses Shay, Takisha, Kelly, Regan and Crystal.
A special thank you to her long-time caregiver Kay Stewart.
Funeral services will be Monday February 24, 2025 at Smith Family Funeral Home – Hot Springs starting at 12:00pm with visitation one hour prior.
Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
