Betty Oglesby, 75, a resident of Beebe, Arkansas, passed away November 21, 2015. She was comforted in her last days by her devoted husband.
Mrs. Oglesby was born March 30, 1940. She grew up in Thida, and graduated from Oil Trough High School. She worked at various jobs and eventually retired from Warehouse Furniture in Beebe.
She and her husband John Oglesby enjoyed their retirement together. She was an avid sports enthusiast, most especially watching the Arkansas Razorbacks; her other interest included gardening, sewing, bird watching, reading, and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her beloved husband of fifty-seven years, John Oglesby; brother Charles Shaw; daughters Cynthia Wolfe and Deborah Skasick; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
At her request no service will be held. Cremation arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
