Betty Lou Prislovsky Morris

Betty Lou Prislovsky Morris went to her heavenly home on September 8, 2024. Betty Lou was born December 15, 1939 in Stuttgart. She was raised in nearby Slovak where she learned to love farm life and harvest became her favorite time of the year. Later she moved to Keo where she raised her three children and learned to play bridge, one of her lifelong passions. Every Sunday she would load her kids up and head to her mother’s house in Slovak where everyone gathered. As her children grew, she moved to Fayetteville, a place where she made treasured friendships and never missed a chance to watch the Razorbacks play.

She was a wonderful mother who loved her family and the Lord with all her heart. She raised her children to know the importance of their own relationship with the Savior as well as those with friends and family, instilling in them the power of prayer and the importance of prayer chains with other believers. She often spoke of how blessed she was to have such wonderful people surrounding her throughout her life. She was a Life Master in bridge, loved to dance, and was an avid gardener with a bountiful green thumb.

She is survived by her children Terrie (Tim) Collins, Lewis (Beverly) Morris, and Joel (Theresa) Morris; four grandchildren Tiffany (Ben) Adams, Chris (Olivia) Collins, Jeremy (Holly) Collins, and Jennifer (Billy) Hogan; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Niedert and Joe Prislovsky, Sr.; her brothers Joe, Jr., Harry, J.D., and James “Jimmy” Prislovsky; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Collins.
