Betty Gross
Betty Roberts Gross, 86, of North Little Rock, passed away Monday, November 14, 2011. She was born in Ward, Arkansas on August 5, 1925 to Laura and Ed Roberts. She was raised in Lonoke and a graduate of Carlisle High School. Betty was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved old movies and spending time with her family.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Houston M. Gross; son, Robert "Bob" Gross (Bernie) of North Little Rock; daughters, Brenda Surratt (Bill) of England and Barbara Gaulin (Greg) of Prairie Grove; four grandchildren, Brian Surratt (Katrice), Susan Surratt Carroll (John), Stephen Gaulin and Juliane Gaulin; four great-grandchildren, Noah and Kaylee Surratt, Dylan and Addison Carroll.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
