Betty Jay Gray, 87, of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007. She was born August 3, 1919 to J.W. and Ila Fierce in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was
a graduate of Christian College in Columbia Missouri and a member of First Christian Church in Little Rock. Affectionately known as ?B.J?., she was an avid golfer and bridge player. B.J. loved helping young people and was a Girl Scout leader and active in P.T.A., as well as a volunteer at the Arkansas State Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters: Debbie May and husband Lewis of Little Rock,
Susan Horn of Texas; granddaughter, G.G. Millard and husband Chad of Little Rock. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Gray, Sr.; son, Carl Gray, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to: Alzheimer?s Association, 7509 Cantrell Road, Suite 100, Little Rock, AR 72207. The family thanks her caregiver, Yowanda Smith for her kind and loving care.
