Betty Nell (Riley) Graham, 82, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born October 16, 1932, in El Paso, Arkansas, to James Oliver and Josephine (Colbert) Riley. She went to be with the Lord and to be reunited with the love of her life, Leroy, on Saturday, August 22, 2015. Betty married Leroy at the age of 15 in Garner, Arkansas, and together, they raised four children. Theirs was a true love story. She felt her greatest accomplishment was their marriage and their devotion to one another. She enjoyed family and shared close, special relationships with her sisters. She was a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ, and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and cooking.
Betty is survived by her son-in-law, Terry Bittenbender of Texas; daughter, Ginger Cottier (Shawn) Akins of Beebe; son, Terry (Jonelle) Graham of Beebe; and daughter, Susan (Robert) Smith of Sherwood; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her daughter, Jobea Bittenbender; brother, Sam Riley; and sisters Ann Phillips, Dean Flowers, Olive Miller, Mary Lee Riley, and Billie Jo Fowlkes.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Dr., Little Rock, AR 72205.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015, at Oak Church of Christ, with burial in Blasingame Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, a certified Veterans Care provider.
