Betty G. Doster

Betty G. Doster, age 74, of Amity, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born on February 23, 1943 at Amity, the daughter of Jim Garner and Luda Skates Garner. On August 10, 1961, she was married to C L "Butch" Doster who preceded her in death on March 12, 1996. She was a faithful member of the Amity First Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and traveling to see those who had moved away. She is survived by her children, Gina Houser and her husband, Todd, of Kirby, Mark Doster and his wife, Deona, of Amity and Pamela Smith and her fianc, Don Martin, of Batesville; her grandchildren, DeeAnna Pate, Keisha Bork, Dylan Houser, Cody Bean, Megan Bean, Johnny Bean, Ashlyn Smith, Kody Smith, Keaton Smith and Keagon; nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Potter of Sparks, Nevada and Ruby Doss of Malvern; and her nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2018, in the Amity First Baptist Church with Bro. John McAnally officiating. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Sweet Home Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
