Betty Stine Eckerson, 87, of Little Rock, AR, passed away on March 3rd, 2013. Born September 11th, 1925, in Mahanoy City, PA, daughter of Alphonse Charles and Maude Ellis Stine. Pre-deceased by her husband of 59 yrs, Eugene Stephen Eckerson.
Loving mother of two, Charles Daniel Eckerson (Kathy) and Deirdre Eckerson Slavik (Mark) and grandmother of five, Katie Slavik, Sarah Raber (Luke), Ben Eckerson, Amanda Slavik, and Danny Slavik.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at St. Andrew's Anglican Church (8300 Kanis Rd, Little Rock, AR) with Rev. Sam Murrell officiating. A reception will follow the service. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 1111 W. Markham St., Little Rock, AR 72201, Habitat for Humanity, P.O. Box 1326, Little Rock, AR 72203 or to FamilyLife, 5800 Ranch Dr. Little Rock, AR 72223.
