Betty Bunch

Betty Jean Goodman Bunch, 91, passed away surrounded by family and love on April 22, 2015. Betty was a talented seamstress and cook, making many of her children and grandchildren's clothing and Halloween costumes, and preparing delicious meals for family gatherings. She loved to dance and spent many weekends of her life dancing with her husband, Oscar, with whom she cleared the floor. They shared their love of dancing with their children. A lifelong voracious reader, she enjoyed legal thrillers and worked the newspaper crossword every day.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Madge Caldwell Goodman and Jess Goodman, brothers R.C., Cecil, Jack, and Kenneth Goodman, and sister Phylis Wilkerson. She is also preceded by her husband, Oscar R. Bunch, and son, Rame "Ray" Bunch, as well as sons-in-law Keith and Larry Howard.

She is survived by her son, Jack Bunch and wife, Linda, twin daughters Melissa Howard and Melinda Milloway Valdez and husband, Mario, daughters Patti Howard and Kathy Hightower and her husband, Randall.

She was a beloved grandmother to Heather and Dee Meadows, Mandy and Eric Bunch, Mark and Matthew Howard, Maggie Muller and Emily Milloway, Brian Birdsong, Adam and Jenni Hightower, and Rosie Valdez, as well as many great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Heartland Care Center and Saline Memorial Hospice for their compassionate and exceptional care. Services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., with a visitation before at 1:00 p.m. at Huson Funeral Home 6400 Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock, 72209.
