Betty Bradford

Betty Joyce Moody Bradford of Vilonia, Arkansas passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 1, 2024. Betty was born on December 22, 1944, to Calvin and Opal Adams Moody of Carlisle, and grew up in the Carlisle/Hazen area. On March 30, 1962, Betty married Travis D. Bradford. They were married for 58 years until his death in 2020. 

 Betty made her life’s work in the family home as a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother until her very last day. Her greatest passion and pride was that of her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, her older brother, Eugene Moody and her husband Travis Bradford. 

 Betty is survived by her children, Clifton Bradford of Conway, Nancy Pillow (Kevin) of Cabot and Rhonda Strandridge (former spouse, John) of Conway; nine grandchildren, Brianna Hammond (Cole) of Lubbock, Texas, Kourtney Lee (Jordan) of Cabot, Nikki Chitwood (Gary) of Lonoke, Bradley Smith (Lorin) of Ward, Sarah Ward (Eric) of Cabot, Tyler Pillow (Brooklyn) of Center Ridge, Travis Jackson (Melissa) of Cabot, Emily Standridge of Conway and Cayden Standridge of Vilonia; ten great grandchildren, Lexi, Lily and Logan Hammond, Ryleigh Pillow, Charlie Rose Smith, Wyatt, Aleigha and Waylon Ward, Kohen Pillow and Wrenleigh Jackson; as well as two brothers, Dwight Moody of Beebe and Danny Moody of Vilonia; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

 Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W Dewitt Henry Drive, Beebe, Arkansas.
