Betty Ann Terrell

Betty Ann Terrell, 78, of North Little Rock entered the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. She was born in Emeryville, CA on July 5, 1944 to Lawrence Brooks and Hazel Harrah. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughters, Cindy and Debbie.

She enjoyed a long, loving relationship with her husband, Joe Terrell. They spent 40 years together full of laughter; enjoyed building relationships at local restaurants and camp grounds. They are well known and loved by many in the area.

Betty was passionate about loving people, her dogs, and spent 57 years as a beautician. She was 15 when she began her career at Stillwater Beauty College; a college founded by her parents in Stillwater, OK. She later moved to Stuttgart, AR where she owned her own beauty shop, “Powder Puff” for 20 years. She then moved to North Little Rock and continued her beauty career another 27 years at Bellwood Beauty Salon. Never content to be still, she “retired” and worked from home for another 10 years. She and Joe spent much of their free time in Mountain View, AR; often camping at Holliday Mountain.

Camping, crafts, water aerobics, eating out, making blankets, spoiling grandkids, going on cruises, and diamond painting are just a few of the things she enjoyed. She truly never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went.

Remaining to celebrate her memory are her husband, Joe; sons, Scott Rush of Rockwall, TX, Scott (Linda) Terrell of North Little Rock, AR, and Brian Terrell of Sherwood, AR; twelve grandchildren (they were all her favorite); sixteen great (really great) grandchildren; and so many more family and friends.

Her presence will be deeply and sorrowfully missed by all who knew her.
