Betty Lou Allen, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012.
She is survived by two daughters Patti Abbott (Glenn) and Becky Dennis (Bill); eight grandchildren, Kelly Beres (Rob), Kim Spafford (Todd), Todd Abbott (Kari), Kara Smith (Shawn), Kristen Harris, Jeff Abbott, Billy Dennis and Amy James (Nathan); sixteen great-grandchildren, Tyler, Josh, Clay, Hunter, Haley, Makayla, Hannah, Sydney, Will, Drew, Eli, Lucy, Olivia, Ellie, Zeke and Mariah; one brother, Charles Grant; three sisters, Tollie Ingle, Virginia Grant and Patsy Loyd. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Nellie Grant; sister, Carolyn McKnight; and husbands, G.R. Brown and Pete Allen.
A celebration of her life will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
