Bette Jo Mergenshroer

Bette J. Mergenschroer, loving wife of William (Bill) Mergenschroer, died 5 AM June 24th at age 84. She was born March 2, 1940 to James Wesley and Blanch (Moore) Holland in Gravel Ridge Arkansas.

Bette is survived by her husband of 52 years, William “Bill” Mergenschroer, step-son William “Willie” J. (Cecilia) Mergenschroer, God-mother Elsie Holland, and a precious and special dog, “Bear”.

Bette was one of twelve siblings and the baby of the family. All of her bothers and sisters are deceased.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Sunday, June 30, 2024, followed by a Rosary at 4:00 PM, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 1, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

Pallbearers include: Michael Reed, Mark Reed, John Hoffman and Jimmy Mergenschroer. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Reed and John Reed.
