Bette Massey
Bette L. Bone Massey, 65 of Little Rock, was born on October 23, 1943 to Willie Bone and Louise Dandrow Bone. She married Larry Wayne Massey on June 5, 1965. She passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2009 in Little Rock.
Bette was a nurse for almost forty years, and was a member of Oak Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a granddaughter Tina Thomas.
Survivors include three daughters Kathrina Yancey, Dawn (Gary) Thomas, and Laura (Daniel) Garrett; three granddaughters Brianna Yancey, Allison Thomas, Kim Roten, and Melody Garrett; a sister Sandi Rollins; sister in laws Debby Cockrell, and Peggy Jones; brother in law Jerry Rollins; and nieces and nephews Heather Cockrell, Richard Cockrell, Joey McVay, and Chip McVay.
Memorial services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Oak Park Baptist Church with Bro. David Harris officiating.
In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation of Little Rock.
Cremation arrangements under the direction of Huson Funeral Home of Little Rock.
