Bessie WIlliams

Bessie Faye Knight Williams passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2017, surrounded by family in Pasadena, Texas. She was born in Higginson, Arkansas on May 7, 1937, to Russell and Rebecca Parsons Knight. She was 79 years old. Bessie was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed gardening and fishing with family. She is preceded in death by her adoring husband, Robert "RG" Williams, her mother, Rebecca Grubbs, sister, Vollie Hester, brother, Robert Payne, and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her sisters Vaccol Holt and husband Deryl of McRae, Arkansas, and Jean Presley of Russellville, Arkansas. She is also survived by her children Jasper Beede, Debra Smith and husband Ed, Ricky Beede, Wyant Beede and wife Carolyn, Carla Mascorro and husband Jerry, Andy Beede and wife Darla, and James Beede along with 27 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Shelby Robbins at Angels Above Us for the care she gave Bessie the last few months.
Visitation will begin at noon on Friday, February 24, 2017, and the service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, 404 W. Dewitt Henry Drive, Beebe, Arkansas 72012, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home.
