Bessie Martin

Bessie V. Martin, 95, of North Little Rock, passed away May 20, 2020.  She was born on December 16, 1924 to the late Angelo and Mary (Headrick) Bakalekos in Little Rock.

Bessie is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Martin, daughter Angelee Mullis, two sisters and two brothers.  She is survived by her children, Mary Herr, Arthuretta Smith, Linda Burdick, Jesse Martin, and Jan Hannah; brother Mike Bakalekos;  and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family that will miss her.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 29th at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

State of AR COVID-19 directives: Face coverings required at all times (not provided by funeral home).  Fifty attendees or less.  Maintain social distancing. No hugs or handshakes please.
