Bertie Jean Sutton, age 80 of Arkadelphia died Wednesday December 17, 2008. She was born July 3, 1928 the daughter of Hampton Lorenzo and Birdie L. Johnston Sellers. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Ottis Wilfred Sutton.
Survivors include 3 sons, Larry Stephen Sutton of Richmond, VA., George Kenneth Sutton of Kansas City, MO., Donald Wayne Sutton of Surprise, AZ., two daughters, Joyce Gail Thrasher of Gurdon and Phyllis Kay Goff of Haskell, AR., one sister Betty Sue Adcock of Arkadelphia. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Friday December 19, 2008 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Henson officiating.
