Bertie Gordon
Bertie Mae (Kinley) Gordon, 95, of North Little Rock made her transition into the next phase of her spiritual journey on Thursday, June 14, 2012. She was a retired elementary school teacher and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, quilting, cooking and spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Janie Berry and husband Robert, of Sherwood and Laurie Waters and husband, Robert, of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Angela Ferguson and husband, Jud, Ashley Berry, Andrew Berry and wife Janessa and Adrian Berry; great-grandchildren, Sam and Olivia Ferguson, Lucas, Locklan, Leven and Lyric Berry and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Allan Gordon; grandson, Allan Berry; two brothers, Raymond and Pete; and two sisters, Tennie and Faye.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
