Bertha M. Jones Highfill, 83, of Little Rock, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. She was born in Little Rock on March 24, 1936 to John H. Jones and Cathryn Jolly Long.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Schrader (Ron) of Benton and Karen Trantham (Blake) of Conway; son-in-law, James Stauber of Little Rock; her siblings, John H. Jones, Ben E. Jones, Nanette Rhodes, Pamela Holden and Faye Williams; grandchildren, all of whom were her favorite, Matthew, Lindsay, Marcus, Lana, Zachary and Amanda and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of sixty-five years, James William Highfill and daughter, Karol Stauber.
Funeral services will be private. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
