Bertha Burris Gunter, age 88, of Donaldson AR, died Monday, May 14, 2007 at the St. Josephs Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs. She was born April 10, 1919 the daughter of William Ferry and Dora Burke Burris.
She was a former restaurant owner and a member of Caney Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Gunter.
Survivors include one brother Carl Burris of Concord N.C., and a sister Dovie Deal of Dallas N.C.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 at the Ruggles - Wilcox Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.
Graveside Services will be 10 A.M. Thursday at Hickory Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Robert Cossey officiating.
