Bertha Gubanski

Bertha Dell Jackson Gubanski, 99, of Mayflower was welcomed into heaven on Friday, June 24, 2011. She was born October 19, 1911 to the late Henry & Florence Jackson in the Bauxite community and married December 14, 1931 to the late Adam Stanley Gubanski, Sr., settling in the Crystal Hill area.
Mother of ten children: Adam (Sonny) Gubanski, Jr., of Maumelle; Robert (Bobby) Gubanski, Sr., of Mayflower; Margaret Howell, of Morrilton; Betty Roberts, of Jacksonville; James Gubanski, of Anthony, New Mexico; Marylou Burcham, of North Little Rock; Barbara Howell, of Hensley; Carolyn Bolton, of Bauxite; Paula Fowler, of Cabot; and Victor Gubanski, of Maumelle.
She was a grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great- grandmother to several and a devoted Christian and member of Northside Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Florence Jackson; one brother, Grover Jackson; and her husband, Adam Gubanski, Sr.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 27, 2011 at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the funeral home with Reverend Wesley Howell officiating. Pallbearers are Greg Bolton, David Howell, Roger Gubanski, Robert Gubanski, Jr., Robert J. Nichols, and Garry Upton. Honorary pallbearers Chester Gubanski and Joe Gubanski.
