Bertha L. Davis age 88 of Arkadelphia died Friday, May 15, 2009 in Golden Living Center in Arkadelphia. She was born November 13, 1920 in Arkadelphia the daughter of the late John Wesley and Adelia Buck. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert J. Davis, two brothers, John O. and William Buck and a sister Irene Snodgrass.
Survivors include a son, James H. Davis and wife Brenda of Arkadelphia, one daughter Dr. Patricia Sanderson of Round Rock, TX, three granddaughters, Drs. Cyndy Davis Sandberg and husband Paul of Tampa, FL, Dr. Evette Phelps White and husband Mark of Oklahoma City, OK, Ronda Phelps Henson and husband Kyle of Round Rock, TX and four great grandchildren, one brother Floyd Buck of Cagletown, two sisters, Clara Lu Underwood of Conroe, TX and Pat Pennington of Pittsburgh, PA.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Monday, May 18, 2009 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Richland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:30- 8:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
