Berta "Ruth" Pinkerton, 79, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. She was born October 21, 1934 to Othel Sr. and Levada (Watson) Dean of Benton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; Edgar Dean and Othel Dean, Jr.; and sister, Alene (Dean) Williams.
She is survived by daughters, Connie Carson of Alexander; Judy Romine (Don) of Redfield; and Debra Dickson (Bob) of Bauxite; five granddaughters and one grandson; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Ruth was retired, having served many years as a professional cook on river tugboats. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Whitley officiating, and burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Huson Funeral Home at 6400 Mabelvale Pike (one block West of 65th St. & University Ave.), Little Rock, Arkansas 72209.
