Bernice Steigler Orr, 87, of Little Rock, passed away October 18, 2009. Born August 23, 1922 in Hot Springs to Edward and Hazel Steigler, she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dr. William S. Orr, Jr. and her son, William S. Orr III, she is survived by her children, Cecelia Ann Wilhite of Tempe, Arizona, Linda Susan Brown of Dallas,Texas and Sharon Moskwiak (Jerry) of Ann Arbor, Michigan; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, October 23 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood Rd., officiated by Rev. Blake Bradford. Visitation will be Thursday, October 22 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. Memorials may be made to St. Paul UMC, the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, 601 Main St., Little Rock, AR 72201 or the Arkansas Art Center, 501 E. 9th St., Little Rock, AR 72202.
