Bernice Goshien

Bernice Marie Goshien, 81, of Bryant, Arkansas, passed away November 14, 2021.  She was born May 27, 1940 to Hanford Keathley and Dacia (Honeysuckle) Keathley.

Bernice is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Bobby Goshien- who she dated a month and a half before marrying; daughter-in-law, Dana Goshien; parents: Hanford Keathley and Dacia (Honeysuckle) Keathley; and great-great-granddaughter, Reagan Roberts.

Bernice is survived by her sons: Randy, and Robert (Patti); daughters: Tammy, and Tonya (Danny); grandchildren: Lacretia (Brad), Rob (Rebekah), Megan Roberts (Nathan), Jeffery (Mallory), Brandon (Tiara), Hunter (Xuenja), and Seth (Maleigh); great-grandchildren: Tristian (Jamie), Carter (Maggie), Grant, Landon, Theo, Beckett, Wyatt, Allie, Dalton, Eliana, Bo, and Jensen; great-great-grandchild, Eli; and many other family members and friends that will miss her dearly.

Bernice started her career at Timex and then worked with her husband in the siding business. She was a God-fearing woman and enjoyed drinking her coffee while reading her Bible. Bernice was the glue that held her family together and loved spending time with them. She always found something good in everyone and every situation. Bernice was always smiling and happy and was loved by everyone who knew her. Although she will be missed, she was ready to go home and see the love of her life, Bobby.

Visitation is Wednesday, November 17, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home. Funeral Service is Thursday, November 18, at 10 AM at Smith-Benton Funeral Home followed by an interment at Forest Hill Cemetery.
