Bernard Forsythe Roberts, 91, of Little Rock, passed away July 23, 2019. Born in Quinlan, Oklahoma to Ira Burl and Mabel Irene Forsythe Roberts, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from the National Weather Service after 27 years of service. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Little Rock.
Preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Pamela Sue Treat and siblings, Kenneth, Mabel Mae, Clinton and Nancy Roberts, he is survived by his wife of 69 years, Betty Ann Neasby Roberts; sister, Faith Heaton of Raleigh, North Carolina; sons, Douglas Alan Roberts (Sabrina) of Wykoff, New Jersey and Kevin Dale Roberts (Lisa) of Roland, Arkansas; grandchildren, Michael Hogg (Kelsi), Noah Treat (Monica), Andrew Roberts, Beth Hawley (Colby), Lauren DeArmond (Scott), Stephen Roberts (fiancée, Carsen McKinney), and Zach Roberts (Brooke); step-grandsons, Josh Treat (Crystal) and Dusty Treat; great-grandchildren, Aiden Silfies, Cole Hawley, Henry Hawley, Jaxon Roberts, and Harlan Hogg; step-great-grandchildren, Zoey DeArmond, Joshua Treat, Tristan Treat, Payton Humphrey, Taylor Humphrey, Braden Treat, Kaitlyn Treat and Audrey Treat; great-great-step-grandchild, MaeLeigh Humphrey; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 28th from 1-3 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). The funeral service will be Monday, July 29th at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Little Rock, officiated by Dr. Jonathan Curtis, with interment following at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
