Berl Ford, age 88 of Bismarck died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at his home. He was born Sept 26, 1917 in Plainview, AR the son of the late George and Cora May Foster Ford. He was a auto mechanic owning and operating Ford's Garage for 53 years. He was preceded in death by one son, Don Ford.
Survivors include his wife, Estene Dixon Ford; one daughter, Anna Sue McCoy of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Kevin and Gentry Ford, Doug McCoy of Bismarck and Suzanne McCoy Trieschmann all of Bismarck; five great-grandchildren and one nephew, Dr. Ralph Ford of Bismarck.
Funeral services will 10:00 AM Friday, May 26, 2006 in Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Bro Van Glidewell officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Bower Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Oak Bower Cemetery Fund or Arkansas Hospice. To sign online guest register visit www.ruggleswilcox .com. Pallbearers will be Pete and Stan Smith, Jerry Copeland, Paul and A.J. Bond, Jimmy Jackson, Jimmy Hardage and Ron Holt.
