Bennie Jean Cratty , 84, of Oppelo, passed away June 23, 2016. She was born to Earl and Bennie Oliver, who preceded her in death along with her husband, Raymond Cratty, her son, Tony Stricklin, grandson, Bobby Stricklin, and brothers, Max Oliver, Wayne, Larry and Charles Thompson.

She is survived by six children, Sue Blackwell and Fabian (Angela and Christina), Mary McCauley and John (David, Wendy and Dakota), Debbie Edens and Eddie (Michael, Rusty and Tina), Sherry Taylor and Rick (Richard and Kevin), Garry Cratty and Larry Cratty (Larry Jr, Emily and Kayla); 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving to cherish her memories are her brothers and their wives, Carroll Thompson and Wanda, Harold Thompson and Sharon, Ben Thompson and Renee, Richard Thompson and Jane, Jim Pat Thompson and Ann, and her sister-in-law, Nita Oliver.

She worked for 32 years at Munseys Toaster.She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and proud grandmother. Her pastimes were praising the Lord, listening to gospel and country music and sitting back enjoying her favorite, good ole Coca-Cola.

Visitation will be Monday, June 27th from 6-8 pm at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd). Services will be Tuesday, June 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
