Benjamin Thomas "BT" Moore, 69, of Hot Springs, Arkansas passed away December 12, 2019 at the VA Hospital. BT was born June 11, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Benjamin Troy and Mary Elizabeth (Belford) Moore. BT served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam Veteran. On one hand, he was a Marine, and on the other hand, he was a rugged Mountain Man. He enjoyed muzzle loading, shooting competitions in which he won several trophies, hatchet throwing, and shooting black powder. He worked as a delivery driver for Little's Produce for several years. Preceding BT in death are his first wife, Diane Moore; father, Benjamin Troy Moore; paternal grandparents-Grandpa and Grandma Moore; and maternal grandparents- Grandpa and Grandma Belford. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of forty-three years, Florence "Susie" Moore; mother, Mary Elizabeth Moore; children: Rebecca Moore, Melanie Moore, Bryon Lyles, and Theresa Stevens and her husband Van; grandchildren: Ryan, Dianna, Ruby, Mariah, Kali, Breanna, Ethan, and Bailey; two brothers: Dennis Moore and Michael Moore and his wife Pamela; three sisters: Sandra Moore and husband Ronald Lane, Phyllis Moore and husband Robert Guill, and Lisa Gilmore and husband Todd, Jr.; and many family members and friends who love BT and will miss him always. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 17 at Smith-Rosemont Cemetery, 1010 Military Road, Benton, Arkansas. Robert Guill, Ronald Lane, Van Stevens, Chase Guill, Ronald Lane, II, Michael Moore, and Todd Gilmore, Jr. will serve as pallbearers. Services entrusted to Smith-Benton Funeral Home.
