Benjamin Goad
Benjamin C. Goad, 83, known as "Uncle Benny", of Maumelle, passed away September 25, 2016. He was born November 9, 1932 in Little Rock to Benjamin Leo Goad and Evalyn Rankin Goad and was a dedicated member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. He worked for Maryland Casualty, and later for the family business until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Paul Goad and Larry Goad. He is survived by his brother, Tommy Goad (Beverly) of Little Rock; sisters, Peggie McCoy of Ft. Worth, Texas and Marilyn McGlothlin of Abilene, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends whom he loved dearly.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, officiated by Chuck Monan and Nick Hamilton, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation at the church will precede the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Church of Christ or to the American Diabetes Association.
