Ben Edward Roebuck, 87, of Little Rock went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, January 31, 2012.
Mr. Roebuck was born March 6, 1924 to the late Roy and Mabel (Robinson) Roebuck in Wilmot, Arkansas. He married his high school sweetheart, Audrey Barnett on May 22, 1943. He spent most of his life in Little Rock. Ben was member of St. Luke United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He worked for Southwestern Bell (AT&T) for 28 years in Little Rock.
Preceded in death by his wife, parents, sisters, Sybil Dalton and Helen Baker, and brothers, Rob and Roy Roebuck, he is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Larios and husband, Robert and two grandchildren, Christopher and Kristin Larios, all of Overland Park, Kansas; sisters, Nancy Tarkington of Batavia, New York, Nell Denton of Warren, Arkansas and Ruth Kellso of Medford, Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 6, at 10 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), followed by burial with Military Honors at Pine Crest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 9:00 a.m.
