Ben Crowley

Our dearly loved Ben Crowley, 38, of Little Rock, passed on to be with his Savior Jesus Christ and The Father who "fearfully and wonderfully made him" on March 20th, 2014.

He is survived and will be forever missed by his wife, Amanda and their daughter (who will arrive in July), Ella. His parents, Bill and Nancy Smith of Maumelle, his sisters, Lisa (Wes) Sullivan of Rogers, Kelly Smith of Monticello, and Annie Smith of Maumelle; his nieces and nephews, Hayley and Catilin Sullivan, Madison and Bailey Adair, Lee Brooks and Wil Brooks, and Jaxson Cotner, as well as his family in love, David and Jadie Lawrence, Travis and Tricia Yielding, and nieces and nephew, Gracie, Tessa, and Tanner Yielding, all of Sherwood. He was preceded in death by his father, R. Hugh Crowley, and his grandparents, Marvin Hugh and Vivian Crowley, and Rupert and Laura Bishop.

Ben was smart and funny, passionate, and kind. He had a heart to minister and love the lost, to see people's hearts redeemed and unburdened by God's love. He had a rebel spirit that was never afraid to stand up for what he thought. He loved good food, hunting ducks, playing guitar, worshiping the Lord, and most especially Auburn football.

Ben graduated from Monticello High School in 1994. He continued his education graduating from Ouachita Baptist University in 1998, and then again from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master's Degree in Divinity and Psychology and Counseling in 2001. He was also a licensed professional counselor.

The short time we had with him wasn't long enough, and we will be forever grateful for the gift he was to those who loved him.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:17.
