Beatrice Milum Loudermilk, of Little Rock, passed from this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, December 3, 2010. Born in Pyatt, Arkansas to Clauda Milum and Euna Brotherton Milum, Mrs. Loudermilk was a graduate of Olvey High School and Capital City Business College in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin William Loudermilk in 1991, and is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Loudermilk's career was with the State Department of Education, Vocational Division from 1936 to 1976. Mr. and Mrs. Loudermilk lived for 49 years in Briarwood where she was a member of the Briarwood Garden Club.
Services will be held Monday, December 6, at 1:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Blake Bradford. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. and Mrs. Loudermilk belonged to St. Paul United Methodist Church and were active in the Wesleyan Service Guild. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church at 2223 Durwood Rd., Little Rock, AR 72207.
