Barry "B.J." Whitfield, 60, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016. He was born September 5, 1956 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a graduate of North Little Rock High School, worked with Levy Concrete and loved hunting.
He is survived by his mother, Alta Whitfield; two brothers, Rick Whitfield (Vicki) and Danny Whitfield (Brenda); nephews and niece, Matthew and Casey Whitfield and Alisa Ruffner (Dylan); two great-nephews, Harrison and Zander Ruffner; and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Coy E. Whitfield.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Harmony Cemetery, Highway 89. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
