Barry ONeal, age 69, of Umpire, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019. He was born on January 4, 1950, in Nashville, the son of William Curtis "Bub" ONeal and Almetta Garner ONeal. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Terry ONeal. Barry was a member of the Mount Joy Free Will Baptist Church and was a log cutter. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and camping. He liked to listen to his dogs run and play music with his friends. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jaclynn ONeal of Umpire; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Quinn Revels of Dierks and Jeanine and Brandon Mays of Umpire; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gary ONeal of Newhope and Larry ONeal and his wife, Bridgett, of Daisy; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 9, 2019, in the Mount Joy Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Raymond Dees officiating. Interment will be in Mount Joy Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Hunter Maxey, Casey ONeal, Baylee Bearden, Jace Jackson, Jacob ONeal and Ben ONeal. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Duggan and Charles "Chief" Dunlap.
