Barbara (Bobbye) Burton

Barbara (Bobbye) Burton, 71, of Austin, Arkansas went to be with the Lord September 9, 2020.  She was born September 23, 1948 in Clarendon to Thomas and Eugenia Oldham.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and a retired Secretary for State Farm Insurance.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Talmadge Oldham and Ralph Oldham; and sister Joyce Shawler.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Sherman Burton of Austin; son Brandon (Catherine) Burton of Sherwood; brother Doyle Oldham (Joan) of Altamonte Springs, Florida; sisters Margaret Simpson of Clarendon, and Linda Ball of Benton; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.  Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, with entombment in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
