Barbara Wofford, 80, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, passed away on August 7, 2023, in her home.
Barbara was born on March 31, 1943, in Amity, Arkansas, to Millard and LaVaughn Garrett.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby Wofford, and her siblings: Wanda Knight, Carl Garrett and Bobby Karol Garrett.
She is survived by her daughters: Melanie Wofford and Misty Ward (Dewayne); her grandchildren: Ashley Hutton, Nikolas Hutton, Baylee Burson (and father, Bruce Burson), Garrett Ward and Michael Ward and her siblings: Betty Rogers (Carroll), Phyllis Halstead and Letha Bishop and her brother-in-law Richard Knight along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara lived a life full of love including a great love for the Lord. As a parent, she loved her daughters and wanted the absolute best for them. As a grandparent, she made sure they all knew how loved they were and how much Jesus loves all of them. To know Barbara was to know the Lord. There was not a conversation she had that she didn't find a way to tell you about Jesus.
A visitation will be held at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. prior to services at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Greg Latham and Chad Gallagher officiating the services.
Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens following the service.
Pallbearers will be Jimbo Cody, Ray Dardenne, Ethan Gallagher, Clif Harrington, Kolby Morgan and Dewayne Ward.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay Street, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923.
