Barbara Ann Wise

Barbara Ann Wise, 67, of Little Rock passed away July 6, 2024. She was born the fifth child of the late Harold Downing, Sr., and Patricia Mahoney Downing on July 31, 1956. She was a graduate of Mt. Saint Mary’s Academy (1975) and retired from Bank of America as a financial analyst.

Barbara was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Pegi Garbett. Survivors include five sisters: Jean Black, Susan Downing, Virginia Downing, Theresa Burnett, Nancy Anglin; four brothers: Lee Downing, Bob Downing, David Downing and Tom Downing; 25 nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will begin at 6:30 PM, followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM, Friday, July 12, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Calvary Cemetery, Little Rock.

Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
