Barbara Jean (Cersovsky) Williams

Barbara Jean (Cersovsky) Williams, 80, of North Little Rock, AR passed away on September 18, 2022.  She was born in Colby, KS on May 24, 1942. She was the third child of six and only daughter to the late Eva (Renner) and Lloyd Cersovsky, Sr. She grew up on the family farm and went on to graduate from Colby High School with her high school sweetheart in 1960. They married on June 16, 1962 after which they moved several times and eventually settled in North Little Rock, AR where they raised their 4 children. Barbara held several different jobs through the years, all having to do with numbers which she enjoyed. She left the workforce completely after the birth of her youngest child and became a full time stay at home mother & housewife. The couple retired after building their custom home where Barbara lived the rest of her days and enjoyed playing cards, reading novels, doing puzzles & playing with her pup.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Williams; their four children:  Chad Williams, Kevin Williams (Debbie), Brenda Melvin (Rick), and Alison Williams; grandchildren:  Eric Melvin, Kaylee Hilliard (Drake), and Emma Grace Melvin; great-grandson, Dakota Hilliard; brothers:  Edward Cersovsky (Sheryl), Lloyd Cersovsky, Jr. (Cindy) and Mark Cersovsky; sister-in-law Mary Sue Cersovsky; several extended family members and friends; and her fur-baby, Oscar.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers:  John Cersovsky and Fred Cersovsky.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 AM, Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. 

Burial will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Lloyd Cersovsky, Mark Cersovsky, Chad Williams (Honorary), Kevin Williams, Rick Melvin, Eric Melvin, and Drake Hilliard.
