Barbara Wilder

Barbara Wilder, 79, on September 28th went home. She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Charles Cole, mother, Lillian Cole and darling son, Jerry.
She is survived by her giving husband Bill; sister, JoAnn (Leon); caring daughter, Vickie Smith (Brett Lile) and four loyal sons, Tommy (Karen), Mike (Terry), Chris and Joel; four grandchildren, Tommy, Joshua, Meghan & Cole; three step-daughters and a host of nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Mt. St. Mary Academy and while her father served in WWII Barbara and her sister helped their mother care for babies of soldiers while their wives worked. She was a devout Catholic and her love of the Christmas season was one of joy and she loved sharing it with her children and grandchildren.
She met and married her partner for life, William E. Wilder in 1973. They raised six children. Their love never wavered through good times or bad. Barbara and Bill took many cruises and saw most of this great country from their RV and van. Barbara learned to love Bill's passion for square dancing till she could dance no more. Late in life she cherished her pets, cheering for the Razorbacks with Bill and spending time with friends and family. Her loving ways, sense of humor and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
