Barbara Rush

Barbara A. Rush, age 73, of Bonnerdale, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022.

She was born on October 1, 1948, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of Thurman Jefferson Walls and Ruby Dot Wanescott Walls. On February 24, 1964, she married Coy Rush. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Pearl Judd; and her brother, Thurman Walls, Jr.

Barbara was a Christian and of the Assembly of God faith. She worked for many years as a CNA with the Villa Manor in Porterville, California and all of her clients loved her. She loved going to yard sales, gambling and being with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Coy Rush of Bonnerdale; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Robin Rush of Brigham, Utah; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Frank Honeyman, of Hot Springs and Connie and Jerry Willet of Bonnerdale; eight grandchildren, Stephen Willet, Codey Honeyman, Nicholas Honeyman, Kaitlyn Willet, Brandan Willet, Dustin Honeyman, Dylan Willet and Brock Rush; six great-grandchildren, Madisyn Willet, Gage Willet, Haven Willet, Evan Honeyman, Jaxson Willet and Emma Wittum; nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
