Barbara Richardson, 75, of Bismarck, Arkansas passed away June 28, 2018. She was born June 12, 1943 to the late Eugene and Dorothy Richardson. She retired from teaching at Bismarck Public Schools, and loved education. She was a member of DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Quilt Guild.
She is survived by her children, Donald Steffey, Ron Steffey (Mary), Suzanne Burroughs, and Carla Mann; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Myrna Hibbs.
In lie of flowers, her family requests backpacks filled with school supplies to be donated.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018 at DeRoche Missionary Baptist Church, with a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at the church. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
