Barbara A. Reid, 75 of Sherwood died Saturday, August 1, 2009.
Barbara completed her journey to join her beloved husband, James Lowery Reid, and her parents, Floyd E. Baker and Ruth Garrett Baker. ?Queen Barbara?, as she was known to family and friends, was a loving and loyal mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a retired nurse from Baptist Medical Center, where she practiced in various job positions.
She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Thomas E. Love (Gwen) of Van Vleck, Texas, Lowery B. Reid (Dana) of Mississippi, Garrett Reid of Sherwood, and Holly Turner (James) of Little Rock; 5 grandsons, Shawn, T.J., and Alton Love of Van Vleck, Texas, and Zachary and Kurt Ehemann of Little Rock; three great-granddaughters, Shaybree Ehemann of Tyler, Texas, Jadyn Davis of Bauxite, and Chasadi Love of Van Vleck, Texas; and two great-grandsons, Brandon and Trey Love of Van Vleck, Texas.
Her celebration will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
Family visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170.
