Barbara Baird Pruitt, age 89 of Little Rock, formerly of Arkadelphia, went to be with our God June 4, 2007. She was born September 12, 1917 to the late Charlie and Myrtle Baird. She was preceded in death by a brother.
She is survived by a son Dale Pruitt, a grandson, Mark Pruitt, a sister Hazel McCain, a niece Lynda McCain Fausett and 2 granddaughters.
Barbara lived for many years on Park Hill in North Little Rock. She took great pride in keeping her home immaculate and when she was older and living at Robinson Nursing Center, she kept her room and herself lovely. She had a special affection for her sister, Hazel and niece Lynda and gave encouragement and support to them throughout her life. Her faith and her friends were very meaningful to her.
The family appreciates the care she was given at Robinson Center and the Hospice staff and volunteers.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11.00 A.M. at South Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. Wednesday till service time at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. To sign online go to www.ruggleswilcox.com .
