Barbara Ann Pace

Barbara A. Walls Lance Pace, age 83, of Little Rock passed from this life February 22, 2023. She was born September 18, 1939, in Kennett, MO to the late Oralee and Artie Walls. Born into a family of nine, she was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

She was married to the late Gaylord JM Lance for over 40 years prior to his passing, and the late Elton Ray Pace for 16 years.

Barbara was a cosmetologist, a real estate broker and Cum Laude graduate of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business education.

She lived her final days in Little Rock with her daughter, but was a previous resident of Woodstock, GA and Morrilton, AR.

More than anything, she loved to laugh and have a good time with family. She was committed to the Lord and engaged in daily devotionals.

Survivors include one son, Timothy G. Lance of Little Rock; two daughters, Kymberli S. Bennett (Brent) of Dublin, GA and Elizabeth L. Stiefvater (Brian) of Little Rock; two sisters, Margaret Walls Ephlin of Texas and Sherida Walls Butler of Kentucky; four grandsons and five great-grandchildren.

A private family graveside service will be held at National Cemetery in Little Rock by Smith Little Rock Funeral Home.
