Barbara Eloise (Tanner) Mayhan, 76, of Sherwood, passed away April 16, 2015. She was born in Mena, Arkansas to parents Homer C. and Leona E. Tanner, and was wife to the late James Mayhan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Homer, John and Stanley Tanner; and sisters Patsy Johnson, Gladys Kimbark and Ruby Tanner; her daughter Barbara-Jean; and husband James. She is survived by her two children Debra (Mark) Blasco and James (Suzanne) Mayhan, four grandchildren: Terri (Mario) Mauro, Jodie (Berto) Reyes, Michael and Matthew Blasco; four great-grandchildren: Alexi, Gabi, and Steven Reyes and Layla Blasco; two step grandchildren: William Kimball and Meliss (Kendall) Schenkel; sister-in-law Dorothy Tanner, her beloved companions "Mr. Beagle", "Don Corleone", and "Pretty Girl"; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family that will miss her.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 21 at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home (501-758-1170), 1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas, with visitation starting at 1:00 pm prior to service. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
